Amanwana, the peaceful forest

Amanwana, meaning “peaceful forest,” is situated on the island of Moyo east of Bali, a nature reserve of over 36,000 hectares with vegetation that ranges from savannah to tropical jungle. Moyo is blessed with a variety of animal and bird life. The resort boasts twenty luxury tents, each one hidden under the canopy of the tropical rain forest and nestled on a secluded jungle beach. Each spacious air conditioned tent boasts solid walls, wooden flooring, large divans, Indonesian ornaments, a large writing desk, a king sized bed and mosquito net. A sophisticated open air restaurant with a bamboo roof and wooden flooring offers fantastic Asiatic and Western dishes. The music pavilion is the perfect place to sit back and sip a glass of wine in the evenings. The pavilion offers a selection of music in a romantic environment surrounded by the jungle and only a stone’s throw away from the sea.
