The Savute Elephant Camp lies in the heart of the Chobe National Park, which is to be found in the semi-arid region of northern Botswana, an area renowned as the elephant capital of the world. The tents are all elegantly equipped with bathrooms, minibar and air conditioning. Each tent possesses a private veranda complete with comfortable chairs and hammocks where guests can sit back and enjoy the fabulous sight of lions, leopards, zebra and giraffe interacting with each other within their own natural environment. The camp also offers numerous leisure activities such as bird watching (the area boasts over 250 different species!), motorised safari excursions with a guide, a swimming pool complete with diving board which in addition affords breathtaking views of the wildlife in the park and also pleasure flights over the Okavango Delta. The Savute Elephant Camp has been built using local materials that blend in naturally with the countryside around it.
